Linkage works freely, other that some dust from sitting, bores are clean and butterflies work freely as well. Manual choke with bracket mounted ready for cable. The car will be formally shown at the 2008 Los Angeles motor show and this is only the second photograph of the new cabrio that goes on sale next summer. It’s the convertible version of the G37 Coupe (read our first drive here) and, like its 3-series target, uses a folding hard-top roof.

Senate committee sends auto-safety bill to the floor for vote

The Senate Commerce Committee voted today to pass a far-reaching vehicle safety bill that has largely won both automaker and consumer support, sending the measure to the full Senate. The bill passed without objections from any senators. The legislation, crafted in the wake of Toyota's safety recalls this year, resembles a House bill that also is now on the floor of that chamber.
