Ford Thunderbird Expansion Tank, Filler Neck On Right Side, 1961-65

A USED ORIGINAL 390 COOLING EXPANSION RADIATOR TANK Looks like it may fit ‘60-64 Galaxie 352, 390, 427 also – you decide.

Used original expansion tank. Blasted down to bare metal, primed and painted. Looks like a little 1/2”x1/2” tab was soldered on bottom – looked like a solid repair done right. Has the part number C5ME-8A080-A and Ford oval. Reproduction ones list for $200 to as high as $375 if you can believe that. Check out eBay item number: 401150733723. That was an un-cleaned used one that sold for $140!

It’s hard to believe now, but until Rolls Royce launched the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo in 1982 Bentleys were nothing more than re-badged Rolls Royces and accounted for an insignificant 5 per cent of Rolls Royce sales. But the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo changed all that and put Bentley on the road to success with the first ’Blower’ Bentley in half a century.

The cute & stylish Fiat 500 dashboard Even though the 500 looks cute and cuddly – which it is – its innocent, retro look belies the fact that the 500 is a surprisingly good drive. A 1.3 diesel isn’t an engine I was expecting to be overly entertaining -even if it is one of Fiat’s new MultiJet jobs –  but I was pleasantly surprised. Below 2000 rpm it’s a bit slow and sluggish and, if I am really honest, a bit of a let down.
