Damage resulting from mishandling, attempted installation, and inadequate return packaging all apply. This is the new, second-generation Range Rover Sport, unveiled at the New York Auto Show. While the first Sport – introduced in 2005 – was a tentative toe in the water for a second Range Rover model line, this new model forms the center of a three-model range, between Evoque and full-fat Range. At 4,850mm long it's 62mm longer than the car it replaces but 149mm shorter than the new Range Rover, while its wheelbase has grown by 178mm to increase rear access – particularly important as there's now the provision of a pair of occasional seats in a third row.

Nissan debuts Sport Sedan Concept at Detroit auto show

Nissan introduced the Sport Sedan Concept to go along with its IDx twins at the Detroit auto show on Monday. The company says the sleek four-door embodies the next-generation design cues, including the V-Motion front end, floating roof and boomerang headlights. “The Sport Sedan Concept shows a new, highly emotional and energetic design direction that takes Nissan's approach of applying sports-car principles to a sedan to the next level,” said Nissan vice president Shiro Nakamura.

New Subaru Legacy production version teased for Chicago Auto Show

The new Subaru Legacy is being teased Subaru have moved quickly from showing a concept version of an all new Legacy at the Los Angeles Auto Show,  with the first tease for the new Legacy revealed ahead of a debut at the Chicago Auto Show in a week’s time. Looking at the tease (above) it does seem to have a very similar shape to the concept version we saw at Los Angeles,. But if Subaru’s recent form is anything to go by, the production Legacy will be far less impressive than the concept.
