1961 Chevrolet Impala V-8 Reproduction Replacement Brake Shoes Front on 2040-parts.com
Bourbonnais, Illinois, US
You are bidding on "original" performance and looking drum brake shoes for a 1961
Chevrolet Impala with the 348 V-8 not the SS and 4-wheel manual drum brakes. These were extras that never were used from
my dad's car when he did the restoration. According to the label they are 11" shoes and 2-3/4" wide for the front application. These brakes are new in the box and never mounted. I'm sure there are more applications than his car so check the package label in the pictures. Check the pictures carefully!!! We
are letting these parts go now since the restoration is done and the car
has just sold. It will not come with any hardware except what you see
in the pictures. I want you to be happy and provide me with positive
feedback. So far 100% so I aim to keep it that way. If you would
like additional pictures or information please send me a message and I
will send back or add it to the listing. Please check my other auctions
for more Impala parts.

Mitsubishi Prototype-S sketches
Mon, 28 Jan 2008By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 28 January 2008 10:13 Fancy a cut-price Mondeo? Mitsubishi is readying a hatchback version of its Lancer family car for launch later this year – and will drop a few clues with this Prototype-S at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2008. Called Lancer Sportback, the production car will be a classic five-door, although you can bank on removing the wilder excesses of the side sills, aggressive snout spoiler and bonnet air vents on bread-and-butter models.
New car sales September 2014 best in ten years. But…
Mon, 06 Oct 2014The Ford Fiesta was again the best-selling car – September 2014 We’ve got used to new car sales / registration reusing month after month, and September 2014 is no different. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) is reporting new registration for the important plate change month of September at 425,681 units, the strongest September performance since 2004 and the 31st month in a row new car sales have increased. But the SMMT do say that although September’s figures show yet another increase, it only represents a rise of 5.6 per cent compared to the March plate change registrations rise of 18 per cent, an indication that the new car marekt is starting to level off after nearly three years of growth.
2012 Mercedes S Class to spawn a convertible
Tue, 17 May 2011The n2012 Mercedes S Class will lose its top It’s probably a sign of increasing decrepitude as it seems only five minutes since Mercedes launched the current S Class, but already we’re talking about the 2012 Mercedes S Class – and it’s only a year away. As has always been the case with a new S-Class we can look forward to a raft of new innovations when the new S Class launches late next year; clever stuff that will eventually filter down to the cars of lesser mortals as the technology matures and the cost falls. And that clever stuff will be packaged up in a big saloon car – the normal S-Class – an even bigger car – the LWB S-Class – and a huge two door coupe – the Mercedes CL, which is expected to be renamed the S-Class Coupe when the new S-Class launches.
