Up for your bid is a cast iron transmission Bell housing from a 1961 Ford F100 with the 292 Y block engine. Reserve is low at $25 and shipping is a flat $25. Pickup locally in central Texas is free.

This bell housing is the five bolt type and it appears nice just very dirty and greasy. It includes the clutch fork and the steel lower cover. Really low reserve considering all that is included and what these go for. This came off the ford 292 V8 Y Block with the T98 4 speed tranmission. Not sure what it works on or doesn't. Please do your research before bidding.

Ford Fiesta “Centura” – 100 years of Ford UK

Mon, 08 Aug 2011

Ford Fiesta Centura Ford isn’t a British company – even if many of us think of Ford as a patriotic buy – although they’ve been in the UK for 100 years. And to celebrate that landmark they’ve revealed the Ford Fiesta Centura, a limited edition of just 1,000 cars. Based on the Fiesta 1.25 Zetec, the Fiesta Centura gets £600 worth of extras – metallic paint (Panther Black only), chrome mirrors, 16″ alloys, auto lights and wipers, rear parking sensors, reversing camera and LED running lights – and costs £13,395 for the three-door and £13,995 for the five door.

Porsche purchases Andial performance brand

Thu, 14 Feb 2013

Porsche announced on Thursday that it has purchased the legendary Andial name that has become a staple in the realm of Porsche racing and performance tuning. In 1975, the late Arnold Wagner (AN), Dieter Inzenhofer (DI), and former Porsche Motorsport North America president and current consultant Alwin Springer (AL) came together to build Andial (an anagram of the principals names), a successful and respected independent authority on Porsche-performance tuning. Since the last active owner, Inzenhofer, is retiring later this month, timing was ripe for Porsche to jump in and offer to carry the Andial torch.

Fisker Karma recalled over fire risk

Sun, 19 Aug 2012

The Fisker Karma range-extender EV is being recalled over a fire risk from a faulty cooling fan. We’re not sure how many Fisker Karmas there are in the UK (well, there should be at least one), but so far it appears that there are a surprising 1,900 in the wild. Now those 1,900 (or 2,400 if you count all the Karamas built and heading for customers) are to be recalled after fire destroyed two Karmas in the US.
