Part Number: RF105 USA made, reproduction kick panels for 1962-1965 Ford Fairlane or 1962-1963 Mercury Meteor Kick Panels with speaker pod. We offer kick panels that are 30% thicker than what is being offered on the market. Our kick panels are made with 0.125” thick Seville grain ABS material. While we have increased the thickness of our kick panels, we have made sure that they fit just as nice as the original kick panels produced by Ford Motor Company. The thicker material helps support the weight of the speaker assembly you choose to install. Our thicker panels also resist to warping once installed. These kick panels allow the owner to install speakers of their choice without cutting up your custom interior. These panels are very sturdy unlike some panels that are offered of thinner material. We form these panels with 0.125" Haircell grain black ABS. We machine the panels with a 5" diameter courtesy hole to aid the installer in the installation but the hole could be enlarged if needed. The kick panels shown with the speakers installed is for reference only so that the buyer may see what they would look like after the speaker components are installed. Speakers are not included. We used a Kicker DS600 Speaker (6" diameter with a 6.75" diameter grill cover, 1.875" depth of speaker) to provide you with reference. We recommend that you purchase your speakers after you have the panels in hand so that you can be sure your speaker purchase is the proper size for fitment in your vehicle. Be aware that the dimmer switch may be more difficult to operate with these panels. Most owners choose to move the dimmer switch inboard slightly to allow for easier operation. Color: These panels are only offered in black, however 60% of our customers choose to spray their new Rhino Fabrication kick panels to match their interior. Nissan Sentra [w/Gallery]
Mon, 03 Sep 2012Nissan has unveiled its all-new 2013 Sentra, the third of five new vehicles being introduced in a 15-month period. The new Sentra – which measures in at 4,625mm long, 1,760mm wide and 1,496mm high – is 68kg lighter than its predecessor while still having larger overall dimensions and a more spacious interior. Sitting on a wheelbase of 2,700mm, the Sentra adopts the automaker's new signature trapezoid-shaped grille and large wraparound headlights with LED accents.
Qoros GQ3 (2013) first official pictures
Fri, 28 Dec 2012New Chinese manufacturer Qoros has shown its new Focus and Golf rival - the GQ3 - ahead of its planned debut at the 2013 Geneva motor show. The first in a string of models planned for launch in China and Europe, the Qoros GQ3 is at first glance a reasonably accomplished design which should be able to compete for showroom appeal with the likes of Skoda and the Korean budget brands. Of course, what has held back Chinese car brands in the past is quality: we can't tell from these first official photos whether Qoros has cracked that or not.
Lotus Evora Facelift heading for Frankfurt
Sat, 09 Jul 2011Lotus Evora Facelift expected at Frankfurt based on the Mansory Evora (above) It’s a ‘back to reality’ story from Lotus, for a change, with the news that, possibly, they are going to take a facelift Lotus Evora to the Frankfurt Motor Show. Of course, we’ve been here before. Earlier in the year we reported that Lotus were taking an Evora with a facelift off to Geneva, but that turned out to be a Mansory version of the Evora, seemingly with the blessing of Lotus as it appeared on their stand.
