Take a look at this low mile second owner 1962 GMC ¾ ton fleet side pickup truck. VIN 1002PJ21264A. It has a clear title. This great truck has a 2 barrel V6 305 motor with plenty of power. It has a standard transmission with the stick shifter on the floor. I have driven this beauty 60 miles—it drives great with a tight rebuilt front end. The original miles on this truck is 55,546. The body panels are straight and are bondo free. There are no repairs. As I walk around the truck and tap panels, all I hear is metal. The original tires are starting to weather and there is some age cracking on the sidewalls. The brakes stop the truck but they’ll need to be adjusted. When the truck was repainted 10 years ago by the second owner, he had new covers put on the seats. There is some lacquer check on the bed fleet side, that I will show in the pictures. Buyer will need to make arrangements for shipping. All shipping paid by buyer. Balance must be paid within 7 days. It is located in American Fork, Utah 84003. Please call Pete if you have any questions. (801) 916-4995.

Citroen Tubik Concept – it’s a Citroen H Van MPV

Sun, 04 Sep 2011

Citroen Tubik Concept - Frankfurt-bound The Citroen Tubik is a slightly bonkers concept from Citroen that’s heading to the Frankfurt Motor Show in a week or so. But it does have possibilities as a production car. Looking like a modern take on a Citroen H Van (the cheap and cheerful, do anything, post-war lugging machine) the Tubik is Citroen’s idea of what a high-tech executive shuttle should be.

Electric Porsche Boxster being developed

Mon, 26 Jul 2010

Porsche are developing and electric Porsche Boxster It’s not exactly a surprise that Porsche has announced its intention to develop an electric roadster based on the Porsche Boxster, after all – as part of VW – they have access to an awful lot of technology and they’d be foolish to let car makers like Tesla or Fisker potentially steal some future Porsche glory. So starting early next year – as part of a programme Porsche call Modellregion Elektromobilität – three electric Boxsters will be out and about with their electric powertrains in the real world to give Porsche feedback. Porsche are making it absolutely clear that this rolling lab for an electric Boxster is entirely complimentary to – and in no way undermines – their hybrid programme, which includes the Panamera and Cayenne Hybrid and the Hybrid Hypercar that should soon become the production Porsche 918 Spyder.

Toyota FT-86 II: Now Toyota mean it. Really

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

Toyota FT-86 II at Geneva Toyota has been threatening to produce an affordable sports car for quite a while. And when we first saw the Toyota FT-86 Concept at the end of 2009 (and in the flesh at Goodwood last summer) we’d expected to see it launch this year. Despite that expectation, we discovered in January that Toyota were actually taking a different concept to Geneva – the Toyota FT-86 II – dashing any hopes of the FT-86 in any shape or form hitting the road this year.
