Hi. You are looking at a good used left in side door release, out of my 1962 Buick Skylark two door. This is the left side,or drivers side. This part was tested, and is in good used working condition, and other than some surface rust, shows no signs of any other problems. The first three pictures are of the door release, the rest are of the car it came out of,and some of the other parts for sale. I will be parting out this whole 1962 Skylark in the next few months. It has an Aluminum 215 c.i. V8 with a 4 bbl intake. ( The engine spins, but i never tried to start it.) i also recently sold the drivers side head, rocker shafts, the trunk lid, the bucket seats, the 2 speed automatic tranny,It has a good windshield, and other glass except the two vent windows, which are cracked, and lots more . Let me know if you need some thing and i can list it. Please feel free to ask questions before bidding, and thanks for looking. Marty 516-637-0593.

"Carry-on" engine will power Le Mans racer

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

NISSAN will this year compete in the famous Le Mans 24-hour race using a revolutionary 1.5-litre, 400bhp engine that’s small enough to qualify as carry-on luggage. The astonishing new technology produces more power per kilogram of engine weight than the 2014 Formula 1 engines, and what’s more it’s set to lead to road car technology. And while the engine block is too heavy to take onto a plane as hand luggage, its 50cm height, 40cm length and 20cm width makes it small enough.
