Any white patches are from the glare of the flash and are not in the picture. Some pictures come with color photos and some with black & white. The McLaren 650S Configurator The new McLaren 650S arrived at the Geneva Motor Show last week – and as the 650S Spider too – and looks, and performs, far better than the 12C. That seems to point to the McLaren 12C being allowed to whither on the vine as McLaren’s customers opt for the new 650S instead of the 12C – even with a price difference heading towards £20k – although officially you can still buy a 12C (although we hear 12C production has been halted). We hear McLaren have already built a number of 650S models and now they’ve even got the 650S Configurator up on their website so customers – and dreamers – can spec up their new 650S.

The Acura MDX Prototype has made its world debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Providing a glimpse of the design direction for the third generation of the performance luxury SUV, the MDX Prototype was designed under the theme of ‘Aero Sculpture' and has low, wide proportions on a longer wheelbase. The signature Acura Jewel Eye LED headlights feature while the arcing roofline is 38.1mm lower than the outgoing model.

A new Porsche Carrera at the Detroit Motor Show Porsche has been absent from the Detroit Motor Show for four years, but is planning a return to next month’s show with a bang, according to Porsche spokesman Hans- Gerd Bode. “We’ll have something spectacular to show there,” said Herr Bode. “You’ll have to wait and be surprised.” So what has Porsche got up its sleeve, we wonder?
