THIS AUCTION IN FOR ONE GENERATOR This is an Original 1962 Chevrolet Generator used on Corvettes. The Generator pictured will include a Delco Tag stamped #1102174 with a date code of your choice. It is a 35 AMP Generator used on 250 & 300 HP engines in 1962. Also included is the red "Field Terminal Tag". It has the correct aluminum front plate. A fillister head screw to hold the radio capacitor is included. It also has the correct bearing type long rear plate. All of my generators listed were professionally rebuilt and come with a 12 month guarantee. Please specify what month and year you would like for the generator tag when purchasing. Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo: 5 to be built – unless Mercedes set their lawyers loose
Thu, 12 Dec 2013There are plans to make the Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo (pictured) a reality With the launch of Gran Turismo 6, Mercedes took the opportunity to build a one-off version of the Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo Supercar, and took it off to the Los Angeles Auto Show to sprinkle a bit of Gran Turismo fairy dust on proceedings. There are no plans by Mercedes to build the stunning looking AMG Vision Gran Turismo, but that hasn’t stopped Florida company J & S Worldwide Holdings from stepping up and offering a short run of recreations of the car. J & S are advertising their take on the AMG Vision Gran Turismo on James List and say they are going to build just five cars – 2 for Europe, 2 for the Middle East and 1 for the USA – and say they’ve already sold one.

Ford salutes Carroll Shelby with 850-hp GT500 Cobra
Fri, 17 Aug 2012The “friends of Carroll Shelby” are saluting the late automotive pioneer with a remarkable, one-off 850-hp GT500 Cobra that was revealed Friday at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Ford Motor Co., Shelby American, Ford Racing and others collaborated on the omnipotent machine, styled in the blue and white colors of the legendary Cobras of the 1960s. It gets a wide body kit, high-performance 13-inch-wide rear wheels and a 4.0-liter Ford Racing supercharger that lifts output from the GT500's usual level of 662 hp.
