Up for auction is this set of used in good condition Chrome emblems for 1962-64 Corvair Spyders. I have polished these up, and they look great. There are some light pitting on these due to weather and age (see photos}, but they would look great on any daily driver. High Fuel Costs Forcing Drivers Off Road
Wed, 04 Dec 2013THE latest AA/Populus survey released to coincide with the Government’s Autumn Statement tells us something we probably already know: high fuel prices are continuing to force drivers to use their cars less. As part of its poll of 21,587 AA members, the organisation found that 45% are cutting down on car usage and 28% are slashing family or personal budgets to compensate. Semi or unskilled workers and pensioners are cutting back most on motoring, with 53% using their cars less.
GM 'will lose money' on the new Chevrolet Volt

The Chevy Volt was unveiled this week amid much hoopla at GM's centenary. 'I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a situation where we make money, particularly when you load all the costs in,' Fritz Henderson, GM’s chief operating officer, told Automotive News Europe, referring to the company’s first-generation technologies.
