Three new Maseratis coming in quick succession - Marchionne

Maserati is preparing a trio of new products for launch in quick succession, Fiat chief exec Sergio Marchionne has confirmed. In an interview after addressing the CBI business conference in London yesterday, he said a successor to the Quattroporte, a smaller Maserati and the Kubang would reinvigorate the Maser range. 'Maserati will increase its volumes by having three cars,' said Marchionne, confirming a replacement for the Quattroporte, the SUV and 'a much smaller four-door.

The 2012 California gets more power and less weight The Ferrari California has been given a bit of a facelift for 2012, with lower weight and more power. Debuts at Geneva 2012. Update: We’d expected to see the California go up in price by around £10k, but Ferrari tell us that the new price – £152,086, up from £146,960 – is not related to the California updates but just an annual increase of 3.4 per cent levied from January.

BMW creates mini version of Art Car by artist Jeff Koons

Known for his whimsical sculptures, artist Jeff Koons is using his skills to create limited-edition BMW Miniature Art Cars instead of giant stainless-steel balloon animals. Famed artists such as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein have created their own BMW Art Cars, and Koons is just the latest in a line such works since Alexander Calder painted the first installment in the Art Car Collection in 1975 Adorned with bright streaks of color against a black background, the full-size vehicle competed in Le Mans in 2010. Miniature models are available now.
