The Volvo C30 is now going out of production as Volvo moves to refresh its range. A new small Volvo is planned. Volvo worked hard to get the small C30 in to the hearts and minds of a younger audience with a feature role in the Twilight films, but the C30 was never a stellar seller.

Lincoln MKX concept revealed ahead of Beijing auto show

Lincoln has pulled the covers off its new MKX crossover concept, which is set for a global debut at the upcoming Beijing auto show. Following on the heels of the MKZ sedan and the 2015 MKC crossover, the redesigned MKX will be the third of four vehicles Lincoln says it will introduce by 2016 (the restyled Navigator doesn't count, apparently). Larger than the compact MKC, the MKX concept wears many of its smaller sibling's styling cues -- from the new split Lincoln grille to the lightly sculpted beltline to the upturned full-width taillights.

Mopar reveals new Avenger rally car

Dodge unveiled its new Avenger rally car on Wednesday at the Mopar Complex in Center Line, Mich. Mopar teamed up with Italian aftermarket parts supplier Magneti Marelli to construct the car. “This is a purpose-built vehicle with collaborative parts from Magneti Marelli and Mopar,” said Dino Maggioni, CEO of Magneti Marelli Aftermarket.
