Eterniti Hemera: The tease continues
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Eterniti Hemera - the first image You may remember that we ran a story a few weeks ago about a mysterious ‘new’ luxury SUV from a new car company – the Eterniti Hemera. Well, they’re back with a bit more of a drip-feed of information as the debut of their first car – which they dub “… the world’s first Super-SUV” – grows closer. Aston Martin. Burj Al Arab Hotel. Helicopter. Mix & Serve.
Fri, 18 Jan 2013As part of Aston Martin’s Centenary celebrations in Dubai, an Aston Martin Vanquish has been helicoptered to the top of the Burj Al Arab hotel. There’s no more extra power on offer from the centenary edition Astons, but they do get a special paint job and interior and come with solid silver enamelled plaques commemorating the centenary, even if Aston Martin seem to have only been able to cobble together a Vanquish Centenary Edition so far. But things have got a bit more spectacular in Dubai, with Aston Martin using a helicopter to stick a Vanquish on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, 1,000 ft up at the top of the iconic sail-shaped building.
'Smartest' UK drivers revealed
Thu, 08 May 2014DRIVERS aged 50-65 from the Midlands have been judged to be Britain’s 'smartest' – displaying the most fuel efficient and safe driving behaviours – while people aged 18-30 from Wales and the South West are more like driving dunces, new research claims. Youngsters in the north of England are the nation’s smartest young drivers, but overall older drivers reign supreme on the road. The Shell FuelSave Smarter Driving research ranked young (aged 18-30) and older motorists (aged 50-65) on their ‘smart’ and ‘not-smart’ driving behaviours towards fuel efficiency and safety – everything from smooth driving to wearing appropriate footwear behind the wheel.
