Up for sale: 1 Pair of cast V8 motor mounts brackets for a 1963 - 1965 Ford Falcon. These will also work on a 64 - 66 Mustang, but you would have to use the 63 - 65 Falcon V8 motor mounts with these brackets instead of the typical SBF motor mounts. I purchased for a car I owned that I was converting from an L6 to a V8 and sold the car before that conversion happened. I am only trying to recover my money on this (and the other items I have posted for sale)....

These are in great condition and hard to find. The motor mount and bracket needed to mount a motor to these are available from most Falcon parts distributors.

Thanks for looking and please see my other auctions.

New Hyundai Sant Fe Super Bowl adverts the most effective

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

It’s been revealed that Hyundai got the most bang for its Buck with Super Bowl adverts for the new Santa Fe increasing Hyundai site traffic by 1000%. So, with figures like that and a huge captive audience, it’s no wonder car makers like to strut their latest products in front of the Super Bowl audience with the hope of a big return in sales. Umpteen car makers ran TV adverts in the 2013 Super Bowl, but it looks like Hyundai has come out very much on top, with Edmunds reporting a traffic increase of 738% in traffic for the new Hyundai  Santa Fe after Hyundai ran its adverts and the US Autotrader site a massive 1000% increase.

Carbon-fiber parts and a software fix help create a lighter, faster Fiat

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

Chrysler Group's Mopar parts brand and Italian supplier Magneti Marelli have teamed up on a design exercise based on the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth that shaved weight and added horsepower. The vehicle, called the Venom, has a number of carbon fiber components -- hood and side mirrors, for example -- that makes it about 200 pounds lighter than the 2,512-pound Abarth. The Venom uses software updates and additional exhaust components to boost the Abarth's standard 160-hp 1.4-liter turbocharged engine's output by as much as 25 percent.
