1963 to 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Power Pack heads 1.72 intake 1.50 exhaust, 3/8th press in studs, cast iron construction.   New exhaust valves, factory springs & retainers. A proper valve job was done in 1980 ($600) these have been sitting on my shelf for 35 years, time to find a role in a Chevy restoration.  These are unmolested  heads with all factory parts.  Will fit 283cid / 327cid / 350cid / 5.0L / 5.3l / 5.7l but have no accessory holes, and does not have hardened exhaust seats.  Will ship UPS ground, shipping to be determined at time of sale.

Hyundai ix35 facelift to cost from £16,995 – extended model range & specs

The ‘new’ Hyundai ix35 (pictured) costs from £16,995 Hyundai revealed the mildly facelifted ix35 back in March (and a better looking version for the Korean market a couple of months later) and now, with the new ix35 on sale next week, we have news of prices and specs. We covered the tweaks Hyundai have made to the ix35 back in March – and they’re really quite minor – but the trim levels are also changing and the more powerful 2.0 litre diesel is biting the dust. The ix35 range now kicks off with the ix35 S 1.6-litre GDi 2WD manual at £16,995 which comes with 16″ alloys, central locking, USB and AUX, AirCon, Hillstart Assist and Downhill Brake Control (designed to help those who can’t really drive).

The Jaguar XJ Sentinel - the armoured version - will launch at Moscow this month Sentinel: One who keeps guard. An appropriate name for an armoured Jaguar XJ, although it reminds me of junk mail plopping on the mat from a company desperate to offer me protection  for my credit cards and keys. But that’s probably just me.

Study: Hybrids safer in accidents, more dangerous to pedestrians

In the first analysis of its kind, the Highway Loss Data Institute found that drivers of hybrid vehicles are, on average, 25 percent less likely to be injured in a crash than drivers of conventional vehicles. Matt Moore, the data institute's vice president and author of the study, said weight was a big factor in its analysis. “Hybrids on average are 10 percent heavier than their standard counterparts,” Moore said in a statement on Thursday.
