Here is an original service manual covering chassis & driveline service for a range of 1963 Buicks, including the LeSabre, Invicta and Wildcat.  This is a genuine, 53-year-old manual from GM that has clearly seen a lot of use in a garage somewhere as evidenced by the smudged cover and dog-eared pages.  However, in spite of the scruffy cover, this book is intact with no missing or seriously damaged pages.  The text and diagrams are all very clean and clear.  A great resource for restorers!

Shipping will be via USPS Media Mail.

Nissan to open new Global Headquarters Gallery

Thu, 06 Aug 2009

Nissan, which opened its new global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan, last weekend (coinciding with the unveiling of the automaker's new electrically-propelled Leaf), will open a new gallery dedicated to its products on August 8th. Just as German automakers BMW and Porsche have shrines dedicated to their respective brands, Nissan's new gallery will feature exhibits of its current products, classic models and cars from its racing heritage. The new gallery - which boasts an area four times larger than the previous Nissan gallery in the company's former headquarters in Higashi Ginza - occupies 4000m2 of space on the first floor of the new building.

The A8 won’t be at next week’s 2009 Frankfurt motor show, and we’re expecting to see it at a later date in 2009 around November time. Audi has already issued a teaser sketch of the new A8’s headlamp, but now we can see the full dimensions and shape for the first time.

This Week in 1958: Montgomery, NY, hosts Governor's Trophy Race for the third year in a row

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

Fifty-five years ago was the third consecutive year that a former Air Force base in Montgomery, N.Y., served as a racetrack. The Governor's Trophy Race was a growing event and spectators only had to travel 75 miles from New York City to see race legends like Carroll Shelby compete. Nearly 30,000 spectators came to the two-day event in 1957, and race organizers were expecting even more in 1958.
