The stylish sport utility was a popular seller in North America for a good part of that decade, and for a while was even offered with a 4.4 liter V8 engine developed by Yamaha and shared with the second-gen S80 (a first for a Volvo passenger car). But it didn’t work out like that. In fact, the 2013 Belgian Grand Prix turned in to a demonstration of the powers of Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull, as the German wasted no time taking Hamilton in the very early stages before going on to control the race from the front, and take a resounding victory with his fifth win of the season.

But finally we got confirmation from Jaguar that the XF Estate is actually going to happen and Jaguar’s designer, Ian Callum saying the Estate would arrive as the Jaguar XF Sportbrake. But we still had no idea exactly when Jaguar would get round to actually launching the XF Sportbrake.
