Lost Nation, Iowa, United States
Condition:Used

This is a set of 5 original 63 Corvette 1" white wall tires. They are part of a large estate of rare Corvette parts that were accumulated in the 60's and early 70'.. No matter how perfect your show car is, you will always take that deduction for tires. Once in a rare while you see a high end show car with original tires and it is one of those items that separate the really nice show cars from the extraordinary ones. This set is just as they were found and are in unbelievable condition. The side walls are clean with very little cracking or dry rot that is commonly found on original tires. The tread on four of the five are excellent as well. One of them has wear on the tread and is photoed above.

This is the first time any of these parts have been for sale. Please call me if interested as I have these parts listed locally and reserve the right to remove the listing ant any time. For my best price call Todd Spain (563)-678-2706 (days).

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

Classic car prices seem to be ever-rising, with historic models becoming an investment to rival buying property or gambling on the stock market. The inaugural RM Auctions Paris sale this week was a case in point, and resulted in nearly £15 million’s worth of the world’s rarest and most exotic cars going under the hammer. Four cars alone went for in excess of £1 million, and a Jaguar D-type sold for three times that amount.
