1963 Ford 4 Speed Manual Borg Warner T10b-1 C3aae Very Good Cond. on 2040-parts.com
Danville, Virginia, US
Here is a great transmision for someone. This transmission fits is from 1963 and was basically used on The Galaxie 500 352, 390, 406 and was also used on the 427 engines as the yellow stencil C3AAE on the lower right corner of the passenger side transmission housing indicates. Transmission shifts easily and all the gears and shafts turn smoothly. The numbers on the main housing are T10B-1, W. G. Div, W-1 with the C3AAE in yellow stencil on the lower right. Just under the T10B-1 to the right is an inverted number in a small rectangular block the has the number 1212 that is upside down. The numbers on the tail section of the transmission are T10B-7, W. G. Div, W-1, with a small rectangular block that has what looks like the letters k d on it. I can not be positive that is the letters. Very difficult to make it out. This transmission has the 9 Bolt aluminum shifter cover pattern with the date code of 8 27 62 on it. Transmission is 27 1/2" long from the bell housing to the end of the tail section. Front shaft is 1 1/16" diameter and the rear shaft is 1 1/8" diameter. The rear output shaft has one spline that has a 1/4" chip on it. This will not effect the ability of the shaft as the driveshaft yoke will extend much further up into the transmission. This transmission is also known as the Borg Warner 411 transmission. I bought this transmission to use but it has the narrow Ford bolt pattern and my bell housing has the wide Ford bolt pattern. One of those "OOPS" moments! As for shipping this item, if you have a "less than truck load" shipper in your town it would be better for you to get a quote and then pickup at the terminal. You will get a better price that way. If not then I will be glad to get a quote and let you know what the cost would be. I will need to know if you will have delivery to home or business address for any shipping quote. Transmission will be put on pallet for shipping. Weight will be approximately 90 lbs. Thanks for looking. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK.

Suzuki G70, Swift Range Extender at 2012 Geneva motor show
Wed, 07 Mar 2012You will not find too many detractors when it comes to the Swift, particularly in its Sport guise, but its clean-living brother was one of the two highlights on the Suzuki stand. The rather convolutedly-named Range Extender was actually first shown at Geneva in 2010, but has since undergone further development. More interesting is the G70.
Saab (NEVS) loses right to use Saab name – NEVS gets creditor protection
Mon, 01 Sep 2014Saab (NEVS) loses right to use Saab name – NEVS gets creditor protection Just a few weeks ago we reported that Saab and its new owner National Electric Vehicles Sweden (NEVS) were once again up against it with an unpaid supplier filing for bankruptcy. Since the, Saab has been thrown a lifeline by the Swedish courts, and a big kick in the teeth by Saab AB. NEVS right to use the Saab name (although not the Griffin logo) was granted by the owners – the defence firm Saab AB – but in light of NEVS financial predicament that right has been withdrawn.
Fun with fiberglass: Petersen exhibit celebrates moldable material
Fri, 26 Feb 2010To be an artisan in aluminum or the Stradivarius of steel, you need about 40 years as an apprentice working metal with pinchers and pullers and to spend a lot of time rolling sheets back and forth through an English wheel. To make something out of fiberglass, all you need is resin. The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is celebrating all things fiberglass--especially the cars--with an exhibit that runs through Oct.
