FORD HUBCAPS 14"

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  FOUR CAPS ARE INCLUDED.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  WE TRY TO BE AS HONEST AND COMPLETE IN OUR DESCRIPTIONS AS WE CAN.  THESE ARE UNRESTORED CAPS IN GOOD OVERALL CONDITION.  GOOD CAPS FOR THE VEHICLE MISSING THEM.   THEY SUFFER FROM SOME  TYPICAL WEAR INCLUDING  A FEW LITTLE DINGS, BB TO FINGERPRINT IN SIZE, AND SOME SCRATCHES ON EACH.  THEY ALSO HAVE SOME COLOR WEAR AND DISCOLORATION IN THE CENTERS.  THE GOOD THINGS IS THE CHROME RINGS AROUND THE CENTERS DO NOT HAVE MUCH PITTING.  TYPICAL OF CAPS FROM THIS ERA.  ANYWAY, THEY ARE NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.  HOWEVER THEY ARE INEXPENSIVE UNRESTORED EXAMPLES.  COOL WALL ART TOO.

COOL EXAMPLES FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION, I RATE  TWO OF THESE CAPS A 3+ AND THE OTHER TWO A 4..   PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES CLOSELY TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED BEFORE BIDDING.  THANKS!

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD AND COMBINE SHIPPING!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 9 years of selling over a 7000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Infiniti opens on London’s Piccadilly

Mon, 09 Aug 2010

Infiniti open for business in London's Piccadilly Nissan’s luxury arm, Infiniti, is on a quest to conquer Europe with its wares. But so far it’s been a little hamstrung with a lack of outlets – just the Infiniti dealers in Reading – and a lack of product to shove under buyers’ noses. Or at least it would seem so.
