1963 Ford Radiator Top Plate Cover Fan Shield 1964 1962 on 2040-parts.com
Churchville, New York, US
Believe this to be for a 1963 Ford - radiator top plate cover, fan shield. Unsure of what it is called. Don't know if used on other years 1962 1964. Date stamped into it is 12 20 2 - December 20, 1962. Cover plate was wire wheeled down to bare metal and then primered. Would be great for that restoration. Email with any questions or if can help ID the name of the part. International buyers please email for shipping

Cars, Culture and the City
Tue, 30 Mar 2010When you think of American cities associated with the car it is Los Angeles of course that leaps first to mind, thanks mostly to Hollywood, and Detroit second. But New York turns out to have been vital in the history of car design, as I found researching an exhibition Cars, Culture and the City at the Museum of the City of New York as guest curator over the last few months, working with the museums curator architecture and design, Donald Albrecht. The show has just opened, on March 25.
Nissan LEAF – UK made EV +Video
Thu, 18 Mar 2010Nissan will produce the Nissan LEAF EV in the UK from 2013 Carlos Ghosn – head of Nissan – is convinced that electric cars will account for 10% of the market by 2020. Which is a huge leap from where they are now. We’re not convinced he’s right, although if you include what by then should be viable hydrogen fuel cell cars then he may be getting close.
