New MINI to be unveiled on 18 November
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The new third-generation MINI Hatch will be revealed at the British brand’s Oxford factory on the 18 November, ahead of a simultaneous showcase at the 2013 LA and Tokyo Motor Shows two days later. In a nice touch from the BMW-owned carmaker, the special unveiling event will be held 107 years to the day since creator of the original Mini, Sir Alec Issigonis, was born. German Grand Prix 2012: Alonso on pole for Ferrari
Sat, 21 Jul 2012Fernando Alonso put his Ferrari on pole in Hockenheim for the 2012 German Grand Prix, with McLaren trailing far behind. It’s not just the UK that offers F1 a wet experience, the 2012 German Grand Prix in Hockenheim did a very good impression of the British weather for today’s qualifying. Star of the show – once more – was Fernando Alonso who put his Ferrari on pole position for the second time in a row, comfortably beating second place Sebastian Vettel who was half a second slower, just in front of team mate Mark Webber.
Ford, NHTSA investigate wheel studs on Fusion, Mercury Milan
Mon, 01 Aug 2011The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has upgraded an investigation into complaints about the 2010 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan sedans to an engineering analysis, one step closer to a recall. The investigation of 317,315 cars results from claims of fractured wheel studs, which could cause a wheel to come off. Ford's investigation is ongoing and no recall has been announced.
