Fresno, California, United States
Condition:Remanufactured

You're looking at a refurbished set for a 1964 1/2 to early 1965 Mustang with either a 260 or early 289 motor.  The covers were blasted and repainted with the high temp gold that they originally came with and the breather cap cleaned and repainted to complete the set.  Take a close look at the covers.  Most of what I've seen has been hammered or, otherwise, dented through misuse.  Not these.  If you're doing a restoration, these are ready to go.  I may have some valve cover gaskets laying around that I can ship to the winner, but couldn't find them at the time I took the picture.  If I do, they will be shipped with the covers as a freebie. All monies due in within  3 days of the sale. Feel free to e-mail with any questions and thanks for looking.

2015 Volkswagen Touareg price and specs – costs from £43,000

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

The 2015 Volkswagen Touareg (pictured) costs from £35k Volkswagen revealed a facelift for its biggest SUV – the VW Touareg – at the Beijing Motor Show in April which got the usual tweaks of titivated front and back and a new set of alloys to make it look fresher. Also in the mix, sadly, was the end of the very grunty 4.2 litre V8 diesel (and the hybrid in the UK) with VW deciding to concentrate on two flavours of V6 diesel and adding in new technology like post-collision braking, coasting and low-resistance tyres with air suspension to the mix. Now, with the 2015 VW Touareg due to go on sale on 27 August, Volkswagen has revealed prices and specs for the new Touareg.

Goodwood Festival of Speed 2011 roundup & HUGE photo gallery

Mon, 04 Jul 2011

Goodwood Festival of Speed 2011 with the E-Type sculpture outside the house It’s really quite hard to convey just how enjoyable the Goodwood Festival of Speed is to those who’ve never been. John waxed lyrical over the weekend (someone has to do the weekend news) saying that the Goodwood FoS is “Disneyland for petrolheads, with the world’s greatest cars and greatest drivers wallowing in three days of high-octane worship at the alter of the internal combustion engine” And he’s absolutely right, but there’s more to it than that. It it works because, despite the fame and ability of many of those who turn up to Goodwood every year, from Button to Moss and Evans to Martin, there is little in the way of them and us; it’s 180,000 diverse people drawn together by a common love of all things car.
