DESCRIPTION:  THESE VALVE COVERS WERE REMOVED BY ME IN 1996 FROM A LONG-STORED '64 OLDS "98" CUSTOM SPORT COUPE (without cruise control, an option that often damages valve cover on d/s).  THEY ARE NOT CLEAN, BUT THEY ARE EXCEPTIONALLY STRAIGHT.  I'M REASONABLY (99 & 44/100ths %) SURE THAT THEY WERE CHROMED FROM THE FACTORY.  UNDER ALL THAT GRIMY MUCK WILL BE CHROME (possibly well preserved?).  PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU'D LIKE MORE PHOTOS.  SORRY, BUT IF I POLISH THEM, THE PRICE WILL ONLY INCREASE.  THEY ARE IN STORAGE AT PRESENT, AND THE PHOTOS ABOVE ARE OVER A DOZEN YEARS OLD.   LATER ON, I'M GOING TO LIST A BEAUTIFUL CHROME 4V (FOUR BARREL) AIR CLEANER FROM THE SAME CAR, THAT I'VE RECENTLY LOOKED OVER.  IT'S HUGE!

BMW confirms X4 production

BMW has confirmed plans for an X4 SUV, a spokesman told Autoweek. As the name implies, the ute would slot in between the X3 and the X5 and likely get an M variant. BMW would distinguish the X4 from the other models with a bolder face and perhaps a curvier body--much in the manner in which the X6 stands out from the rest of the SUV line.
