The redesigned Nissan Versa has more standard features and a higher starting price for the 2012 model year--$10,990 without destination costs. The sub-$10,000 Versa will no longer be sold in the United States. Destination costs for the 2012 model have not yet been released.

2013 Hyundai ix35 Facelift spied

An undisguised photo of what appears to be a facelift for the 2013 Hyundai ix35 has appeared on a  Korean site. It’s not yet three years since the Hyundai ix35 was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009 (although it had been seen in Korea earlier), but it looks like the compact SUV from Hyundai is getting a facelift for 2013. The photo above shows an undisguised ix35 / Tucson snapped in Korea and shows a new, more confident nose, big statement grill and fog lights that looks like the might have been borrowed from the new i30.

Hennessey Venom GT hits 230 mph in less than 20 seconds

The power junkies over at Hennessey have uploaded a YouTube video of the company's Venom GT hypercar. The Lotus-based GT sprints from 0-to-228 mph in 19.96 seconds, or the time it takes to update your Facebook status. Behind the driver of the Venom GT is a Corvette ZR1-sourced LS9 V8.
