Here is a vent window handle for a early to mid 60s ford galaxie, fairlane, or mustang. This is NOS and in great shape. This has been sitting on a shelf in my fathers repair shop for more than 30 years. I believe this to fit a 64-66 mustang as well as some earlier Galaxies. I am using a basic automobile knowledge and pictures to identify this part so please look carefully and ask questions before bidding. I believe this to be for the left hand side. The chrome is in great shape with just a few minor nics and scratches. In my opinion, this is show quality. Feel free to email me with questions or for additional pictures. |

Thu, 05 Feb 2009Import brand automakers and dealers warned on Thursday that a vehicle scrappage proposal before the Senate would violate trade agreements and could weaken the economy. The Senate could vote on the plan on Thursday, which would offer $10,000 to any moderate- or low-income consumer who trades in a car or truck that is at least 10 years old and buys a new one that is more fuel-efficient and "assembled in the United States." The trade-ins would be scrapped rather than resold. The U.S.-made mandate "smacks of the protectionism that led to the Great Depression," said Barbara Nocera, the top Washington lobbyist for Mazda North American Operations.
2015 Prius said to have even better fuel economy
Mon, 07 Oct 2013The next Toyota Prius will get “significantly better fuel economy in a more compact package that is lighter weight and lower cost,” according to Satoshi Ogiso, the Prius program's chief engineer. Ogiso, who is also Toyota Motor Corp.'s managing officer, said the next-gen Prius' performance will reflect “significant advances” in battery, electric-motor and gas-engine technologies. He said Toyota is looking at improving miles per gallon to 55, compared with today's 50 mpg and that the next-generation Prius electric motors will be smaller and more powerful; in addition, its gasoline engine will be among the world's most efficient.
