What we’re looking at here is a used original exhaust bracket correct for ’64 thru ’75 C2 & C3 Corvette with 2 ½” pipes and manual transmission.

GM part number is 3853725


Piece shows no rot, cracks, twists or other physical damage; there is some surface pitting where pipe contacts.


This was blasted bare before being primed and finished with satin-black detailing paint for a clean presentation.

Universal praise for its styling wasn’t the immediate reaction, but it is a bit of a grower – apart from perhaps the Monkfish mouth. The next Chevrolet Camaro to pace the Indianapolis 500 will pay homage to one of the first. An inferno orange metallic Camaro SS wearing white diamond rally stripes that stretch the length of the car will lead the 2010 Indianapolis 500. The stripes channel the design from the Camaro that paced the 1969 race.

But Lotus didn't let that keep it from making a little news of its own. The long-awaited first production Lotus Exige S V6 rolled off the line Thursday in Hethel, Norfolk, in the United Kingdom.
