ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a plug-in alternator conversion harness is for a 1964-1972 Chevrolet Chevelle that is being changed from an alternator with an external regulator  to an alternator with an internal regulator. It's "Made In The USA" by Factory Fit. This is a great way to convert your 1964-1972 Chevrolet Chevelle to a more efficient alternator that you can be proud to put on your car. 

 

NOTE: This harness is used along with the existing stock harness.


NOTE: Can ONLY be used with 1985 & earlier "SI" series alternators.  

 

FITS THE FOLLOWING YEARS/MODELS: 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971 & 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino & SS396's.

Clunkers claims hit $1.15 billion Monday, government says

Dealer claims for cash-for-clunkers rebates continued to climb late last week after it became clear that the program would get $2 billion in new funding. Dealers had submitted 273,077 applications totaling $1.15 billion as of Monday morning, the Department of Transportation said today. That's about $120 million above the figure of last Friday morning.
