The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee I don’t know why, but I always thought the Grand Cherokee an appealing SUV. It was soft and soggy in typical Yank-Tank way, and its interior trim owed more to the art of plastic than trees, but it had an appeal. More so in V8 mode than the Euro-Special diesel, although the current 3.0 litre is a lot better than the 2.7 litre it replaced.

Holden reveals VF Commodore SS V before Chevy SS bows

General Motors’ Australian arm, Holden, revealed the new VF Commodore SS V before its brother-in-arms, the Chevy SS, gets revealed this weekend at Daytona. The Mercedes GLA 45 AMG Concept has been revealed in LA Over the weekend we had a teaser video from AMG for the GLA 45 AMG Concept, although Mercedes didn’t actually name it as such. But a GLA with the same powertrain as the A 45 and CLA 45 AMG is exactly what Mercedes’ AMG concept tease was, and it’s now been revealed in LA ahead of a likely debut in production form in 2014. The GLA 45 AMG Concept gets bold graphics – something buyers would be unlikely to want – and 21″ forged alloys painted matt black with a red rim and red brake callipers to shout its intent.
