WHAT YOU ARE VIEWING IS A RARE 1964 TO 65 REBUILT TOPLOADER 4 SPEED CLOSE RATIO TRANSMISSION WITH A 2.32. 1st. GEAR. THAT WAS ORIGINAL REMOVED FROM A MERCURY MARAUDER. THIS IS THE SAME TRANSMISSION USED IN A 1965 FORD GALAXIE. THIS IS A 10 SPLINE IN, WITH 28 SPLINE OUT. THE INPUT BEARING RETAINER HAS THE FOLLOWING NUMBER C0AR 7050-A. THIS UNIT WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT. USING THE FOLLOWING NEW REPLACEMENT PARTS: 3rd. GEAR, 2nd GEAR, 1/2 SYCHRONIZER , A USED INPUT IN GREAT SHAPE SYSCHRO SPRINGS & KEY KIT, NEW CLUSTER PIN, AND ALSO A COMPLETE MASTER REBUILD KIT, THAT INCLUDES 4 NEW BRASS RINGS, BEARINGS, ROLLER AND NEEDLE. Sat, 06 Sep 2014Lewis Hamilton on Pole for 2014 Italian Grand Prix F1 hasn’t been kind to Lewis Hamilton in 2014, especially with Nico Rosberg running in to him at Spa, but Hamilton is back on track with his first pole position since May and, better still, he did it by leaving Nico Rosberg in second place a comfortable 0.274s behind. That performance will no doubt help Hamilton’s state of mind as he battles Rosberg for the drivers championship, but he still has a mountain to climb as Mercedes’ sanctions on Rosberg don’t include a ‘resting’ race to level the playing field. And with just seven races to go, a 29 point deficit is a big deficit to make up.
