Selling original 1964-66 carpet to dash trim for Chevrolets, Chevelle. 

 This trim pad has a crack that I could mend with a super glue and you would never notice it.  I have enlarged the picture on the back so you can see what it looks like. From the front you can not even see it.   

Solid black.  These have the U shaped front and were the ones for the 1966 models.  

 The part number is printed on the back #3850999.

Ford Escape, Fusion get software fix

Ford says it has developed a fix for the potential engine fire problem that prompted it to recall nearly 90,000 copies of the new Escape and Fusion with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine. Ford traced the problem to a glitch in the engine software that could lead to an engine fire in the event of pressure dropped in the cooling system. So dealers will update the software on the recalled vehicles.

The first BMW i8s delivered in Germany The new BMW i8 hybrid supercar was finally revealed in production guise at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, and by the time it went in to production the whole of the 2014 run of i8s was sold out. Apart from its innovative plug-in hybrid powertrain, the i8 offers many new technologies, one of which is a set of laser lights which deliver a much brighter main beam than LED and looked set to be the first time such lights have appeared on a production car. But Audi tried to upset BMW’s applecart by revealing the R8 LMX last month, which also came with laser lights, and looked set to arrive with customers before the i8.
