1964-68 Mustang Convertible Boot Retainer on 2040-parts.com
Conestoga, Pennsylvania, United States
This is the piece that fits behind the rear seat on a convertible, and the boot slides into. this is off a 68 with 7 screws (screws included), the 64-67 use 11 screws, you can use this on the early ones with drilling 5 more holes or as is. this is not show quality, looks like someone had trouble removing one of the screws, but the slider to hold the boot is perfect. they are available repo for over $100., I just want to find a home for this one.

Ironman Stewart retires, sells all
Fri, 27 Aug 2010The off-road racing accomplishments of Ivan "Ironman" Stewart might never be matched: 82 major wins in desert racing, 17 of them in the crash-and-bang Mickey Thompson stadium series, three Baja 1000s and others too numerous to squeeze in here over a career that spanned 30 years. The thing that really sets him apart is that, while competitors shared driving duties over the long desert courses, Stewart did the vast majority of them alone, with no relief drivers--just him and the dirty, dusty desert. But even legends want to retire someday.
Ford at CES: Charge your car with science and wash your dishes while you sleep
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Ford's C-Max Solar Energy Concept is a "plugless plugin," said Donna Bell, which initially sounds silly -- as if the carefully structured chaos and noise of CES may have finally gotten to her. But as someone who has been managing Ford's electric vehicle infrastructure for the past 20 years, she isn't being facetious. Solar panels on the roof of a car aren't anything new -- the Fisker Karma used them to power the radio and other in-car accessories, to cite a soon-obscure example.

It seems only five minutes since we wrote that our long-term Jaguar XJ would be here until ‘… the leaves are coming back on the trees in the Spring’. And here we are – officially in Spring – and the trees are in bud and our XJ has gone.
