This is a 1964-74 Oldsmobile V-8 distributor, which fits the 5.4,5.7,7.0,and 7.5 engines. It fits a multitude of models, including the 68-71 442,71-74 Cutlass Supreme,64-74 Omega,71-74 Custom Cruiser,65-74 98,67-68 Delmonte 88,65-74 Delta 88,65-66 Dynamic,64-72 F-88,64-66 Jetstar 88,65-66 Starfire,66-74 Toronado, and the 64-74 Vista Cruiser. It is in beautiful shape and moves freely. I happened upon a long-forgotten treasure trove of point type GM distributors at a wrecking yard that had them stored inside and had them sorted. They were all pull-offs and may or may not still run.

Audi A1 Quattro (2012) first official pictures

Wed, 21 Dec 2011

This is the Audi A1 Quattro, a 252bhp and four-wheel drive hot hatch that’s as exclusive as an R8 GT Spyder. Just 333 Audi A1 Quattros will ever be built so they’ll be a rare sight on the road – and particularly in Britain as the entire production run is left-hand drive, and Audi UK will import a tiny number only if there’s enough customer interest. So I probably can’t afford an Audi A1 Quattro, and I might never see one – what am I missing out on?

BMW to offer rear-wheel drive X3 SUV

Sun, 19 Aug 2012

Most BMW X3s spend a negligible amount of time off road - apart from crunching across Middle England's gravel driveways - so BMW has seen fit to release a version that ditches the all-paw capacity and reverts to classic rear-wheel drive. While it's still going to be some way from a classic rear-drive Ultimate Driving Machine, the X3 sDrive18d is the cheapest and most economical way into X3 ownership. You'll be able to get your hands on one from £28,580 when it arrives in the UK in the autumn of 2012.
