This is the speedometer cable ,with all the pieces(cable, housing, hub cap, pin, and spindle shim) from a 1964  Volkswagon Beetle,or Bug.This piece is usable as is.This piece is everything you need from the speedo head down! I tried to get pics please look.  Check my store for more parts off this car! Parts from this car are generally pretty nice as it had only 58,611 miles, and sat in a building for thirty years before I bought it and took it apart. Nissan recalls Pathfinder, Infiniti QX4 for rusted steering column

Nissan is recalling at least 195,000 Pathfinder and Infiniti QX4 SUVs sold in 20 cold-weather states and the District of Columbia to inspect steering columns for rust and corrosion. Nissan is concerned that road salt used in these cold-weather states could cause the steering columns to rust through and possibly break off. In January, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration started investigating 35 reports of corrosion-related failure of the driver's-side front strut tower.

It's just been unveiled in Japan, costs over £100k and Nissan says the new car is ‘targeted specifically at enthusiast drivers who desire race car-level performance in a street-legal vehicle’.

Chris Bangle – the undisputed front man of car design – needs little introduction, so the prospect of the former BMW Design Director and now founder of Chris Bangle Associates giving a talk in our home town of London was too good to pass up. His presentation (which you can watch in full in the video to the left) touched on his time at BMW, but was more focused on the idea of empowering others to create: "design without you in the middle", as Bangle says. From the story of the co-creation of the staircase in his Italian studio to the idea of encouraging people to think about their culture when designing, his philosophies transcend disciplines.
