1964 CHEVELLE ELCAMINO 14" HUBCAP, SIMILAR TO MID 60s NOVA TOO

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IN THE VEHICLE IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  WONDERFUL CAR WALL ART TOO.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  THIS IS AN UNRESTORED CAP THAT IS IN PRETTY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION.  IT SUFFERS FROM TYPICAL WEAR INCLUDING  LITTLE DINGS, BB TO FINGERPRINT IN SIZE AND A COUPLE OF SCRATCHES.  OF COURSE, THERE IS ALSO A LITTLE PAINT WEAR.  ONE NICE THING IS THE CENTER IS IN REALLY GOOD CONDITION WITH MAYBE A TINY CHIP ALONG THE EDGE AND SOME COLOR WEAR.  ANYWAY, JUST A GOOD, OLD, HARD TO FIND HUBCAP.  IT'S NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.   PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES CLOSELY TO MAKE SURE IT IS WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED BEFORE BIDDING.  THANKS!   14" IN DIAMETER. COOL EXAMPLE FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE IT A 3++.

PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES CLOSELY BEFORE BIDDING. WE COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

WE COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS TOO.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 years of selling over a 8000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Smart ForStars Concept revealed

Fri, 14 Sep 2012

The Smart ForStars EV Concept has been revealed ahead of a Paris 2012 debut, previewing the next generation Smart ForTwo. Why the Smart ForStars Concept, you may ask? Well, as this is a concept Smart can be a bit daft, so the ForStars gets a panoramic roof – so you can see the stars – and a video projector in the bonnet scoop so you can watch the (movie) stars.

Chrysler's new problem is a shortage of vehicles

Wed, 05 Aug 2009

A two-month factory shutdown and the cash-for-clunkers government rebates accomplished a feat that had eluded Chrysler Group: It turned several slow-selling vehicles into scarce commodities. At the end of July, Chrysler had only a seven days' supply of Jeep Patriots, or 2,200 units, in dealer stocks. Sixty days is considered normal.

Audi to engineer next Porsche Cayenne

Fri, 10 Dec 2010

Audi will develop Volkswagen group's Porsche Cayenne, VW Touareg and Audi Q7 large SUVs in the future. Currently, Porsche has responsibility for engineering the three models, which share the same underpinnings. The decision to transfer developement to Audi comes after Porsche was chosen instead of Audi to be the lead developer for large luxury sedans and sports cars within VW group.
