This is a 37 Amp alternator for most Chevrolet product in 1964. It is known to need new bearings which are included with this part. It was working electrically when removed from a 1964 Chevelle, but was very noisy. It may also need new brushes.
The case is in very good condition and it comes with the fan and pulley which may or may not be the original ones.

Swiftcover.com has been sifting through the official data, and found that almost 50,000 new drivers have been banned in this fashion in the last four years. Camaro plant gets more work; recall issued
Thu, 07 May 2009The strong early demand for the Chevrolet Camaro has General Motors looking to crank more units out of the Oshawa, Ontario, assembly plant. The Oshawa plant was exempt from GM's recent announcement of shutdowns of as long as nine weeks for several of its plants--primarily those that build pickups and SUVs. Oshawa will increase Camaro output by adding overtime and an extra week to the plant's production schedule.
