Citroen DS3 Cabrio (2012) first official pictures
Fri, 31 Aug 2012Britain is Europe's biggest market for convertibles - odd, given our recent blink-and-you'll-miss-it summer. Still, Citroen hasn't been put off, and will launch the DS3 Cabrio after its world debut at the 2012 Paris motor show. Citroen claims the weight has only increased by 25kg over the hard-top DS3, and buyers will get even more personalisation options to go along with the wind-in-the-hair driving experience.
Million Dollar Fiat: 1953 Zagato Fiat 8V Elaborata
Mon, 25 Jul 2011Fiat's first, and only, V8 engine debuted at the 1952 Geneva Auto Show powering a sleek two-seater intended to dominate Ferrari, Maserati and Lancia in two-liter sports-car racing. The car was designated the 8V, or Otto Vu in Italian, because Fiat had mistakenly thought that Ford held a trademark on V8. Fiat's legendary design engineer Dante Giacosa mounted the upper portions of a pair of 70-degree V4 engines on a single crankcase to make the 1996-cc, OHV V8.
Eterniti Hemera concept
Tue, 16 Aug 2011An intriguing teaser sketch for Eterniti Motors, a new London-based luxury car brand, has been revealed this morning. The company's website features a teaser video and an early sketch of its first vehicle, the Hemera. It will be further developed, with more evolved versions of the sketch released every week leading up to its Frankfurt debut. Judging from the sketch, the full production-ready vehicle set to make its debut in Frankfurt will be a high-level SUV crossover.
