 This auction is for two 1964 Ford Falcon Hubcaps for 13" wheels.  Both are in excellent overall condition, especially considering they are 49 years old.  No pitting, no major scratches. Put these on your car and drive.

There are minor cosmetic blemishes as listed below which are easily repairable.

One will require minor touchup on the black paint.

The other has a scratch on the edge of the rim (as from using a tire iron to pry it off) which can be felt, but not seen.  If it bothers you to know it is there, it can be easily wet sanded and buffed out.

And we get a few more details. Auto Motor Und Sport has been talking to SLS designer Hartmut Sinkwitz – who was responisble for the Smart (sublime to the ridiculous springs to mind) – who says that although it is important to pay homage to the Gullwing Mercedes of the ’50s – the inspiration for the new Mercedes SLS – it was vital that the SLS should be a modern car in every respect.

CAR INSURANCE is a "highly dysfunctional market" in which firms' pursuit of profit has led to higher prices for consumers, a report by MPs has said. In some cases, business practices have not been in the consumer interest and have "inadvertently encouraged criminal activity", the report from the House of Commons Transport Committee said. There was no clearer example of this than "insurance firms' willingness to pay compensation for whiplash claims which they suspect are fraudulent without requiring the claimant to undergo a medical examination".
