Condition:Used

The nameplate appears to be in VERY GOOD CONDITION.   It is an ORIGINAL name plate directly off of the vehicle.  It came from my own Galaxie 500.  I am 95% sure it was a 1964.  I can not recall which part of the vehicle it is from.   I owned it sometime near 1986.  Prior to the the car was owned by my grandfather.   That's about all I know of it's history.   But, more importantly, it should be on a proper, beautiful old car and not on a shelf.

Renault is reviving the Gordini name for high-performance models

Tue, 10 Nov 2009

They don't sell Renaults in the United States anymore, but it's worth noting that the French automaker is reviving the Gordini name for high-performance versions of the Twingo and the Clio. The name pays homage to Amedee Gordini, a mechanical whiz known as "the sorcerer" for taking production-car engines and making them competitive on the great racetracks of Europe. The Gordini versions of the Twingo and the Clio will wear the trademark light blue paint with a pair of white stripes running from nose to tail and centered over the driver.

Peugeot 407 Review & Road Test Part 2 Somehow this old-fashioned Coupe is ticking all the right boxes. It looks good, it goes well enough and it handles sufficiently well for you not to notice the progress you’re making; always a good sign. It also seems to be very well bolted together.

Ford puts Volvo up for sale

Mon, 01 Dec 2008

Having spent most of the last twenty years carefully building up a portfolio of Prestige European car makers, including Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin and Volvo, the last of these, Volvo, has now been put up for sale by Ford. This hardly comes as a surprise when you see the precarious state of Ford. It’s busy going cap-in-hand to the US government looking for a bail out, and selling off Volvo could add several hundred million pounds to its decimated balance sheet.
