Who's Where: Giles Taylor appointed Rolls-Royce Motor Cars design director
Wed, 27 Jun 2012Giles Taylor has been appointed Rolls-Royce Motor Cars design director, with effect from 1 July 2012. He previously held the position of head of exterior design. Taylor will report directly to senior vice president BMW Group design, Adrian van Hooydonk and will replace Ian Cameron who retires from his position to become a brand ambassador until his retirement in April 2013.

Sat, 08 Aug 2009The Hyundai i10 i-Blue is based on the Hyundai i10 Blue CNG concept (above) So where are Hyundai off to now with their ‘best budget buy’ cars? They’re off down the 3-pot road, with the introduction in the New Year of the Hyundai i10 i-Blue - an 800cc three-pot engined car that should give crackingly good economy and emissions. Based on the 2008 Hyundai i10 Blue CNG Concept that was shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2008, its 800cc, turbo-charged three-cylinder engine should be good for 90bhp and slip in to the free VED bracket, with less than 100g/km CO2 emissions.
Ford announces new Kuga models
Mon, 01 Dec 2008Slotting in as the base model is a 2wd 2.0 TDCi which has a Co2 output of just 159g/km. This is a crucial point for businesses when the regulations change in April 2009. By coming in at under 160g/km the new Kuga will be eligible for a 20% writing down allowance, as opposed to the 10% for cars over 160g/km.
