London parking space on sale for £75,000

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

NEVER MIND the car; one enterprising home owner is hoping to earn some handy extra money by selling their parking space for £75,000. Located on Westbridge Road in Battersea SW11, the listing indicates that it is a single parking space at the rear of a property – so there’s no garage to keep the car safe, merely enough space for it to be parked. With easy access to the River Thames and nearby Battersea Park it is an attractive location, but only for someone in the immediate vicinity.

Aston Martin launches Centenary Editions of DB9, Vantage, Vanquish & Rapide

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

Aston Martin celebrates its centenary with Centenary Edition versions of their entire range featuring special paint finish and bespoke interiors. One hundred years ago today, Aston Martin arrived as Bamford & Martin as Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford formed the company which would, just a year later, become Aston Martin, and to celebrate the centenary Aston Martin is creating 100 Centenary Editions of each of its model range (although not, it seems, the Cygnet). All the centenary Edition cars (V8 Vantage, DB9, Rapide and Vanquish) will feature a unique graduated paint finish and get adorned with solid sterling silver wing badges (don’t park your Centenary Edition Aston Martin in a public car park with the current price of silver) with tailored ‘Trans Flux’ enamel inlay.

Audi A4 Avant (2008): first official pictures

Wed, 20 Feb 2008

By Mark Nichol First Official Pictures 20 February 2008 09:16 Audi knows where its bread and butter is and continues to stretch its A4 range every which way. So step forward the new A4 Avant, unveiled today. The estate version of the A4 will major on sporty style rather than outright practicality, but the numbers are smaller (less thirsty than the old one) and larger (boot capacity up by 48 litres to 490, 1430 with the seats down) as appropriate. That amount of space doesn’t seem class leading thoughNothing gets past you, does it?
