1965 1966 Dodge Dart GT Moulding Trim Finish Panel Rear OEM

Here is a nice finish panel that came off of the trunk of a 1966 Dodge Dart Gt. It is nice , but not perfect. The actual molding is extremely straight, as it should be. It does have a couple nicks and scratches as pictured. Nothing that can't be fixed if you want to spend the elbow grease. Mine was in about the same condition and I used 2500 grit wet sand paper on it and rubbing compound and it shines like a mirror now. Also includes 7 of the original slide in bolt clips. All in all a nice hard to find part for your classic Dodge. Complete as pictured.

GM continues work on fuel-saving engine technology

Wed, 20 May 2009

Sometime in the next decade, you might be able to enjoy some of the benefits of a diesel without driving one. A technology called HCCI improves fuel economy 15 percent and releases fewer emissions by using a combustion process similar to what is used in diesel powerplants. General Motors continues work on the project, which could be applied across a range of engine sizes and used with other advanced fuel-saving technologies to help the company comply with the proposed new mileage and emissions targets announced Tuesday by President Barack Obama.

Vauxhall Corsa VXR (2007): first official pictures

Wed, 03 Jan 2007

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 03 January 2007 00:01 Vauxhall Corsa VXR: the lowdown Vauxhall will unleash its hottest-ever supermini in March: the 190bhp Corsa VXR. In keeping with the UK-only VXR branding, the hot hatch will be spruced up with a butch bodykit, a series of chassis tweaks and a turbocharged version of Vauxhall's 1.6-litre engine. Vauxhall's previous sporting superminis have left us lukewarm, but this latest one promises some fireworks in the engine department: the company quotes 0-62mph in just 6.8sec, and it tops out at 140mph.

Porsche Macan means 1,000 extra jobs at Porsche

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

The Porsche take on the Audi Q5 – the new Porsche Macan – looks set to be Porsche’s biggest selling model ever and means 1,000 new jobs at Porsche. The ‘baby’ Cayenne – the Porsche Macan – is Porsche’s take on the Audi Q5 and a model that looks set to take Porsche’s sales to levels undreamed of a decade ago (pre-Cayenne). But although the Macan is based on the Q5 – just as the Cayenne shares its underpinnings with the Q7 and Touareg – Porsche say it will still be a red-blooded Porsche – the ‘Sports’ car in its sector – when it goes on sale later in 2013, so we don’t expect to see a lethargic eco diesel under the bonnet, although a fettled 2.0 litre TDI is highly likely.
