Hi:

This is a 1965 1966 Ford Galaxie Remote Mirror, including the bezel and the plastic protective cap.  Intact, complete and working.  Cables are not cut or damaged.  Cable sheath has a minor tear.  Mirror is used, but not cracked or tinted.  Chrome is actually in pretty good shape, but with lots of pinpoint specs.  Good for a daily driver or rechrome candidate.  A rechromed head plus this is much cheaper than a complete NOS kit.

Overall, the pix tell the story of the condition and are an integral part of the item's description.

Prior to bidding/buying, please do your homework. It is up to you to determine if any part listed is suitable for your application or serve your purpose. Parts may not be returned. Please ask any and all questions and use the photos to assure your satisfaction.

Original parts are always best for your classic Ford. NOS means “new old stock”.  Note that NOS means that it has not been put into service.  It does not necessarily mean that it is factory fresh.  Its a 40 year old car part and may have some shelf wear or other damage.  These parts were mass-produced and are not “custom” parts. Sometimes there are factory flaws as a result that are cosmetic and generally do not affect the performance of the part. Some items are still in there original opened packaging, some items are not in any packaging. Look carefully at the pictures as they are an integral part of the description.  Pictures are of the actual item.

If you have questions or concerns, please use the “ask the seller a question” button in this listing. Due to their nature, we cannot assume any liability for the functionality of any part sold.

I am starting to sell off my extra parts for my 61 and 65 Ford Galaxies.  Great cars, but too many parts in storage.  I am starting most of my auctions at $10 and letting the market determine the rest.  Check out my other auctions.

Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions and I will do my best to answer.

Thanks for watching.  Bid early and Bid Often.

Note that I will not ship to an address that is not your confirmed Paypal address.  So make sure you have updated your address with both Ebay and Paypal before you buy.  I will also not ship to PO Boxes.  Thanks

Ford is bringing its One Ford mantra to bear in the SUV sector for the first time - so this new Escape will in turn mutate into the next Ford Kuga for Europe. We're expecting the new Kuga in late 2012, with UK sales slated for spring 2013. Ford Escape: a mix of Vertrek and Kuga The new Escape 4x4 has heavy overtones of the Vertrek concept car, yet Europeans will be familiar with the Kuga motifs at play.

Volkswagen Scirocco R20T – snapped ahead of reveal

Tue, 12 May 2009

VW Scirocco R20T snapped ahead of the reveal on 21st May I suppose we should consider this a ‘Tease’ from VW, because the photo we have here appears to be a track-prepared version of the new hot Scirocco, but it’s not. It is actually a full production model with a stack of track logos splatted on it. Our snapper says it was a fully trimmed car with a full road car interior.

Nissan previews Resonance Detroit show concept

Fri, 11 Jan 2013

Nissan has teased its Resonance crossover concept ahead of its official debut next week in Detroit. The image of the concept, which Nissan says is the latest in a series of crossover designs "fusing bold styling with a hybrid-electric powertrain," shows a sharp flowing character line running along the side as well as the L-shaped LED rear lamps that can be found on the Nissan Juke. We can also see that the Resonance features a floating roof, created by the C-pillar not joining up to the roof but curving down to leave a break to the roof, giving the impression that it is floating over the rear window.
