OLDSMOBILE HUBCAPS

HERE'S SOMETHING THAT IS HARD TO FIND YET REASONABLY PRICED.   WE JUST NEVER FIND THESE CAPS. THE FIRST WE HAVE FOUND IN MANY YEARS.  SERIOUSLY.  I BELIEVE THESE WERE USED ON ANUMBER OF MID 60s OLDS MODELS BUT YOU LOOK TO BE SURE THEY ARE WHAT YOU NEED BEFORE BIDDING.  THESE ARE IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM EXPENSIVE, SHOW CAPS.  JUST DECENT OLD CAPS FOR THE OLDS MISSING THEM. THERE'S BB TO FINGERPRINT SIZED DINGS ON EACH CAP ALONG WITH SOME SCRATCHES.  USE THE ZOOM PLEASE ON THE PICS.  THERE IS ALSO SOME PAINT WEAR, COMMON FOR CAPS OF THIS VINTAGE. NOT BARRETT JACKSON CAPS IN CURRENT CONDITION, BUT FAIR HARD TO FIND CAPS.  LOOK TO MAKE SURE THE CAPS ARE RIGHT FOR YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE BIDDING! PLEASE.   3 CAPS ARE LISTED HERE .  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, I RATE TWO OF THEM A 3+ AND THE OTHER TWO 3, BASED ON AGE, RARITY AND CONDITION

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE!  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 8 years of selling over a 5000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Toyota RAV4 EV: Powered by Tesla – the tease

Thu, 11 Nov 2010

Toyota RAV4 Powered by Tesla - the tease Back in May we reported that Toyota had fished down the back of the sofa for some loose change (£35 million – two days profits) and had thrown it in the general direction of Tesla. As part of the deal Tesla were to utilise the Toyota facility in Fremont, which stands empty but used to build Corollas and Tacomas. Which all seemed quite odd.

Lancia Musa and Delta plans

Fri, 14 Sep 2007

By Guy Bird Motor Shows 14 September 2007 09:55 Why should I care about Lancia – or its revised Musa? Because Lancia is returning to the UK in autumn 2008 after what will be a 14-year absence. You might care a little less about the Fiat Idea-derived supermini-MPV Musa shown at Frankfurt – as it’s only a revised model and this version won’t be making its way to these shores.
