1965, 65, 1966, 66 Pontiac GTO, LeMans, Catalina, Grand Prix, 2+2, Tempest, Corvette all with air conditioning and power steering. This unit came off of an original 1965 GTO with air conditioning and is correct in spite of some numbers that have been published. Alternator is core only, stamped 1100692, 55 amp, with date code 5F20 or June 1965. Could have been used on 1966 vehicles as well. No fan or pulley as I replate them silver cadmium for show quality cars. May have been used for Corvette as well. THINK BIRTHDAY, CHRISTMAS or HOLIDAY GIFT! Citroen DS Revival – update
Fri, 06 Feb 2009We brought you news a few days ago of Citroen’s announcement that they are going to revive the Citroen DS, and launch the first model at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Citroen's DS Inside Concept to show at Geneva Old cynics that we are, we reckoned that this would be nothing more than a bit of badge engineering – Citroen’s ‘Ford Ghia’ moment. And to be honest, the release of the picture you see here, which is Citroen’s DS Inside Concept, and the basis for the first of the ‘DS’ cars, the DS3, hasn’t really changed our minds much.
Ssangyong getting bullish with the Korando SX
Tue, 07 Aug 2012The new Ssangyong Korando SX is to feature in a £1 million TV advertising campaign comparing price and spec with its rivals. It’s almost exactly a year since we reported Ssangyong’s return to the UK market with the Ssangyong Korando, a competitive budget compact SUV they hoped would set them on a path to sales success in the UK. Ssangyong ramped up their Korando offering in June by launching the Korando SX 4×4 at a very reasonable £18,795, although you did have to sacrifice kit – and a lump of power – to achieve the new 4×4 entry price.
