ORIGINAL 1965 - 1976 Hollander 42th edition MASTER parts interchange manual in binder. This is the most desirable of the Hollander series, it covers the "muscle car" era, 1967 thru 1972. - Domestic Passenger Vehicles, light Trucks, & vans. Ford, GM - Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Chrysler, AMC, Jeep.  Used, some fingerprints but, hey - this was used in a real wrecking yard.  Still very usable. This is not some cheesy Chilton guide or hard to use CD, this is the very same professional manual that would have been used by wrecking yards & body shops. This is the real McCoy, a full 3" inches of impossible to find info.  Looks like it covers about 1965-76 (some farther back, depending on part).    The catalog is devoted to parts interchange - WITH tabbed dividers - GENERAL INFO: VIN decoding, Certification plate decoding (Ford), GM Fisher body codes, Truck ID, Model names & index headings, -- ENGINE, -- ELECTRICAL, -- WHEEl & BRAKE  -- SPRINGS & SHOCKS, -- STEERING & SUSPENSION, -- AXLE & DRIVESHAFT, -- COOLING & FUEL, -- BODY PARTS, -- BEARINGS -- CLUTCH & TRANSMISSION, -- HEATING & AC --- + Hubcaps, wheels, MORE MORE MORE --- EVERY section has parts listings for each component, WITH a VERY COMPLETE parts breakdown . --     This manual is chock full with TONS OF VALUABLE INFORMATION WITH WAY TO MUCH TO LIST!    Sold as is. Positive feedback ALWAYS given with EVERY completed transaction. NO RESERVE.   catalog book holender 1965 1966 1967 1968 1969 1970 1971 1972 1973 1974 1975 1976 d6885

MINI Clubvan: Debut at 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed

Sat, 23 Jun 2012

The MINI Clubvan – a MINI Clubman with blocked out windows and no back seats – arrives as a production model and debuts at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The MINI Clubvan arrived as a concept at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, but there was no chance MINI were going to pass up the chance of filling yet another MINI niche, which makes it no surprise this morning sees the arrival of the production version of the Clubvan. Looking exactly like what it is – a MINI Clubman with polycarbonate panels over the back windows and no back seats – the MINI Clubvan aims to do for trendy delivery businesses what the MINI did for trendy Estate Agents - make their ubiquitous presence a real annoyance.

One Lap of the Web: Green machines, light-up stars and an upside down Porsche

Fri, 28 Jun 2013

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. To participate in the 24 Hours of LeMons you not only need a sub-$500 car, but you also have to find a gimmick.

Rare foreign cars head to Carlisle this weekend

Thu, 15 May 2014

Every spring, Carlisle, Pa., (otherwise known as the Woodstock of the classic-car hobby, a title it now fully shares with Hershey) hosts a weekend event just for foreign cars. Last year, over 1,000 cars gathered in central Pennsylvania, with rare foreign machinery making its way from all over the lower 50 and parts of Canada. The longest-traveled cars we spotted last year wore British Columbia plates, which should give you a clue as to the event's following, though we're still unsure which cars we spent the longest time gawking at.
