RESTORED 1965-66 PONTIAC GTO / LeMANS AUTOMATIC CONSOLE

This is a very nice restored (but not re-chromed) automatic console for a 1965-66 GTO or LeMans.
It also fits 1964 GTO and LeMans but the chrome top plates would have to be re-painted with the correct blue/grey paint.
The chrome has been polished and looks good. I would call it much better than the majority of items called driver quality in eBay listings. It would look very good in your week-end show car.
The top plate and console compartment lid have both had the painted surfaces stripped of old paint, cleaned up and re-painted.
The console compartment has been stripped, cleaned up and re-flocked.
The plastic base has been cleaned up, minor repairs completed and re-painted.
It comes with a wiring harness for the 3 lights in the console.
It also comes with an extremely nice looking complete shifter assembly and other associated parts you would need to install the console and shifter in your car.
It is ready to install in your own special 65 or 66 A body Pontiac and will improve its interiors appearance.
Look closely at the pictures and decide for yourself if this is what you are looking for your car.
This auction will run 30 days.
Shipping for this item will be $55.00.
I generally ship in 2 days after an auction ends.
Please submit any question you may have and I will respond within 2 hours in most cases. I will gladly answer any and all questions submitted.
Thank you for looking and good luck bidding.
This console also comes with an OEM electrical harness.

New MINI JCW GP laps Nurburgring in 8:23 (video)

Sun, 29 Jul 2012

We have video of the fastest MINI ever – the MINI John Cooper Works GP II – lapping the Nurburgring in 8:23. We revealed back in April that a new version of the MINI JCW GP was on the way, and MINI got round to confirming that in May when the new MINI John Cooper Works GP was officially revealed. At the time, MINI told us that the new MINI GP could hustle round the Nurburgring a full 19 seconds quicker than the old MINI GP making the new hot MINI the fastest MINI ever made (well, the fastest MINI ever made by BMW, anyway).

If seeing is believing, then the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology (DIO) does their share of making new believers annually, including those who are visually impaired. Originally founded in 1972 by Dr. Philip Hessburg and his associates in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, out of a genuine appreciation for fine automobiles, the DIO gives credit to the designers who have given these cars their individual beauty.
