1965 Buick Special Skylark Gs Gm Delco Am Radio - Serviced - Plays Good!! on 2040-parts.com
Down South, US
I am retiring and its time to sell alot of the goodies my late husband and I have accumulated over the years. Up for sale is a real nice 1965 Buick Special Skylark GS AM Radio. There is a tag on the side of the radio that says Model 7289714. There is a note on the bottom of the radio that says " Serviced! Plays Good". We picked up this radio and alot of others over the years at various venues. I recently had it tested and it plays great up and down the dial! The case is clean with almost no rust. All mechanicals work as they should. The nose, lens and pushbuttons look to be in good condition with some minimal pitting on the face. The radio comes with only 3 knobs as shown in picture. Center to center distance on the shafts is approx. 6 l/4". I'm selling the radio without a warranty because the electonics is over 35 years old and I don't trust old electronics. I will be putting up more radios from my late husbands estate for sale this week and next week. The radio you see in the picture is the one you get. Please read description and ask any questions before purchase. Buyer pays fixed rate shipping of $15.00 for USPS Priority Large Flat Rate Shipping (Lower 48 states only). I carefully wrap my radios in Bubble Wrap to insure safe shipping. I accept Paypal. Any questions, feel free to email me. Good Luck and Thanks for Looking!! RA-679

CAR scoop: BMW and Toyota's joint sports car plot
Fri, 13 Sep 2013BMW is buddying up with Toyota on an all-new sports car platform, set to underpin the replacements for the Z4, 6-series and GT86. The unlikely collaboration stems from an alliance that began in 2011, where BMW and Toyota agreed to co-develop next-generation lithium ion batteries, and for Toyota to use BMW’s fourpot diesels in its European cars. An engineering team is beavering away on the project, with the clock ticking: the suits want to outline the car’s specification before the end of 2013. What does BMW get out of the bargain?

Thu, 28 Apr 2011Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 - this time from Stuttgart The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 has been rumoured for a while, and yesterday we finally had so much information on the Porsche 911 RSR for the road that we ran the story. We had a set of photos of the 911 GT3 RS 4.0, and just about all the specs you’re likely to need, so there seemed no point in not publishing what we had. But, as we said yesterday, that amount of information on a yet-to-be revealed car would force Porsche’s hand.
