1965 Chevrolet 283 Truck Engine. This motor needs Rings, it was a runner that I pulled from our S-10 . It had no knocks, just started to get some blow by, right after I installed it.

Notice the marks on rear of crankshaft, this is the billet crank that came in trucks , strong motor. The heads are both stock Power Pack heads. This motor will fit anything that takes a small block Chevrolet. Ideal motor for a late 1950's - late 1960's application. it has only one script valve cover, both heads are un drilled on the ends so it has the period correct look to it.

This motor comes with all lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, Head bolts, has a Comp Cam in it, gave it a nice idle & still had decent low end power.

The Cam is fine and could be re-used.   It still held good oil pressure, 35-50 lbs. cold, had no rod or Piston noise.

Motor had sat in a garage for many years when I got it, so the stationary position of the rings for so long . is known to cause premature Ring collapse some times..

. Another ebayer ask about the Head Bolts? The reason the bolts are out is, I used this motor in our S-10. I had a set of Aluminum Heads, I used those for obvious reasons. These Power Pack Heads are the same set of Heads that came with this motor , complete and stock 4 Barrel carb.  Cylinders from the piston up still look good enough for a stone hone, tops of the pistons all look fine. No disappointments, motor and heads are as described.

The Audi A1 quattro struts its stuff on snow After the news yesterday that the Audi A1 quattro will cost an enormous £41k, we though video of the A1 quattro in action might help. Yes, the Audi A1 quattro costs a ridiculous amount of money by any sane standards, but set aside your head and look at it with your heart, and it’s an appealing car. Especially when you see the A1 quattro handling the snowy track in this A1 quattro video.

ANALYSIS: The incredible shrinking Alfa stand at the Geneva motor show

When he talks, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne conveys high hopes that the Alfa Romeo brand soon will be a huge business success, but actions often speak louder than words. Fiat has massively reduced the size of the 100-year-old sporty brand's stand at the forthcoming Geneva show. In March, Alfa's stand will shrink to 639 square meters from this year's 979 square meters, which was the second-largest display space among Fiat Group's portfolio after the Fiat brand.
